CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Now Hiring
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, primary care clinics, and assisted living facilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform basic medical procedures such as venipuncture and spinal taps under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.
- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures.
- Familiarity with anatomy and medical terminology.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
